Position over looking the ocean and kings beach second time there and will stay there again

False advertising and misrepresentation. I booked for a few days with my daughter who severely injured both feet/ankles about 12 weeks prior to date booked. I rang manager to see if I could cancel as my daughter can barely walk. He said that would be fine and to contact Wotif, who were totally uncontactable! I tried to find an email address but kept getting pop ups of useless info. Tried chat, nobody was available. I decided as there was a lift at the building to take my daughter up and use the small pool. Tuesday prior to booking date manager emailed me saying lift was broken. I asked if I could cancel due to the circumstances of my daughter not being able to walk well. He said if I had contacted him a couple of weeks ago, that would have been ok. I had contacted him. I went by myself and thought I would work. No WIFI but smoking areas in 2021. Seriously! Lounge very old an uncomfortable, mattress needs replacing, no laundry facilities. I have gone through previous reviews and it appears there are ongoing issues with this property. I have never had so many problems and the manager wants to get clients to contact him directly instead of the internet site unless there is a problem , then he wants clients to go to booking site. He told me they don't respond or do anything. It appears he refuses to accept responsibility for anything. ABSOLUTELY CANNOT RECOMMEND TO ANYBODY!!! I won't be back.

The property has fantastic views on all sides. The walk to the beach and cafes/ restaurants was easy so a good location. The building is aged and calling the 3 bdrm apartments a penthouse is a bit of an over sell. It was overall a good place to stay.
This is a very old and dated building with one very out dated lift which is operated by a key which requires a lot of patience to work. The dishwasher in unit has broken handle. Very old and shabby furnishings and carpet. It is not a penthouse either.
