Convenient location but rooms are very small.

Small rooms but walking distance to convenience store, market, money changer, train station, ferry station, bus station.

I checked in very late around 9pm because my plane delayed. The staff deliberately assigned me a twin room where as my booking is for a “double room”. I have to went down to the reception area to ask for a correct room. And to my surprised the staff was annoyed, raised his voice and told me that the double room are all full. I also raised my voice back at him and insisted that I booked a double room and I need my room! With angered voice, he told me that firstly assigned twin room is larger but if I insisted on a small double room, he will give it, special for me…..wait what!?!? I pay higher price for double room shouldn’t I get what I have paid for in the first place??? Room size is rather small with noticeable wear and tear. I am ok with that since it was just a one night stay. BUT the totally unacceptable thing is it is an extremely dusty room, dust, dust, dust every where. I have an allergy and I sneezed like crazy ever since I stepped my foot inside the room. I had to wear surgical mask all the time during my 9 hours tortured stay inside the room. This hotel desperately needs immediate big & deep cleaning and a proper renovation. I would not recommend this hotel even if you are a budget traveller.
