26.04.08 This place is by no means fancy. The room itself is actually fine… until you start noticing all the little things that scream “we tried, but not really.”
Let’s start with the lotion situation—because apparently this place is preparing guests for a full-time skincare career. There is lotion everywhere. Bottles on the desk, bottles half-used, bottles that look like they’ve lived a long and complicated life before you arrived. If you ever run out of lotion in your lifetime, it won’t be because of this place.
Then there are the tissues. So. Many. Tissues. It’s like they’re expecting either a very emotional stay or a year-long allergy season.
The bed? Imagine sleeping on a decorative rock, but with less comfort. The towels are about the size of kitchen cloths—adorable, really. But don’t worry, you get four… presumably one for each limb. Full-body drying is a team effort here.
And just when you think it can’t get better, the soundtrack kicks in—courtesy of whatever is happening downstairs. So unless you plan on being drunk enough to pass out instantly, you’ll get to enjoy the live entertainment all night.
All in all, come for the room, stay for the lotion collection, and leave with a newfound appreciation for silence and full-sized towels.
