Mystic River Hotel & Suites

Excellent Stay and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel's location was also ideal, with easy access to local attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

No pool, no breakfast, room lock had to be repaired. Rooms are clean and the location is great.

We were visiting a local beach for the day and decided last minute to stay the night. Found this hotel had a room at a reasonable price and with the beautiful pictures of the pool and rooms we thought it would be a great way to end our day. Good thing we used our GPS to get there because it looks like a boarded up abandon building. After seeing another car pull in we followed and went inside. As soon as you walk in the door all you can smell is mildew. When you walk up to the desk there is a sign that says “sorry pool is closed”. Pool has been closed since December due to a problem with the roof. Which I am assuming is where the mildew smell is coming from. We can’t cancel our reservations because they need 24 hour notice and I literally made the reservation within the last hour. Room was mediocre, with a TV that had five channels to watch that didn’t skip or freeze. Half the hotel is still blocked off due to smell and damage that they must still be attempting to repair. Looked like the two employees that checked us in were the only employees working the weekend to cover everything. We were told at check in that there would be juice and coffee in the lobby in the morning but at check out we went to get juice and only water came out of the machine. We were told to come back tomorrow for juice. Luckily there is a DD in the next parking lot. Lesson learned! Always read the reviews and call the hotel before reserving a room to check what amenities are available. Would not recommend this hotel and will not stay again.

Very dirty dusty smelly rooms pool was closed I want my money back. Complained they did nothing didn't care

Basic amenities were all in place. nice room, well lighted, TV OK, frig OK microwave Ok. Very pleasant check in welcome. Desk attendant, Pricella, was really helpful. We had a problem getting Wi-Fi to work, but she came to our room and helped us to connect. A pleasant "out of the box" experience compared to other hotels.
