26.03.22I love Meigetsu--it has charm, authenticity, the kindest most conscientious staff ever, and amazing meals. I can't wait to come back!
25.12.16Good strategic location to nearby sights and train station. The meals provided are very good and the owner and staffs are exceptionally nice, friendly and welcoming👍
25.12.12Don't stay anywhere else in Tsuwano! Warm, friendly service and excellent kaiseki meals. If you like fish, you'll really enjoy the meals here. Beautifully presented, full of exciting flavours, and attention to detail second to none. Highly recommended!
25.11.26The ryokan is beautiful, a little bit old but that's what gives the vibe and the charm to the place, as well as the town. When it's too manucures, I don't like it and this was the amount of authenticity I was expecting! The tenant is so so nice and greatful for you to be staying at her place. The kaiseki food was great, really delicious!! And they take into account the fact that you're staying 2 nights to change the menu and so you don't eat 2 times the same thing. Also, if you're tattooed like me, know that you're allowed to use the onsen without worries ❤️ I couldn't recommend more this place ❤️😸
25.11.03We just left Noren Yado Meigetsu this morning — one of the oldest inns in Tsuwano, preserving traditional culture across generations. We were fortunate to enjoy two nights in a quiet, peaceful, and quaint environment.
Although the building shows its age and offers no frills, these are easily overshadowed by the cheerfulness, kindness, and thoughtfulness of the owner, along with the warm support of his son and daughter-in-law. They are truly lovely people.
At this ryokan, guests can experience authentic local seasonal cuisine — we were treated to an abundance of delicious food! The inn is reasonably priced, and the service is excellent.
