22.10.08Hotel is located around 10min drive from George Town. There is no grocery store nearby. However, hotel provides free shuttle bus to the city. Hotel has a private beach, nice pool and small fitness room. Stuff is super friendly. We were there in low season and unfortunately only one restaurant was opened which didn't serve breakfast. Watch out for additional resort fee which you would have to pay during checking in. It's around 80$ per day! For more than 200$ per night I would expect at least a bootle of water waiting for us in the room...
22.10.26 Room not clean when we arrived. We asked for it to be cleaned and they did so but it turns out you are only allowed 1 clean per stay regardless of how long you’re there and they classed this as ours. Have to ask for essentials i.e. toilet roll, a sponge for the kitchen. Pool dirty. Cockroaches in our room. Bar staff seem like they don’t want to be there. Sun loungers uncomfortable. Had to pay a resort fee which is fine as we were aware of this, but can’t work out what this is for considering they don’t even clean your room. Definitely not value for money and more of a hostel than a hotel. We will not be staying again. Only pro is the reception staff who are friendly and helpful.
