26.04.07This place is a little slice of paradise. It’s about a 10-minute walk from downtown along what feels like Bequia’s version of a picturesque boardwalk. The hotel has a cozy little beach with crystal-clear water—perfect for relaxing.
The beach staff, who are supposed to bring drinks, can be a bit hit-or-miss, but you can always head to the bar and get what you need. The restaurant serves delicious food—just be prepared for a longer wait, as everything moves on true “island time.”
The staff across the property are warm and friendly. Keep an eye out for William in the restaurant—he’s incredibly kind and welcoming. When he found out we were leaving the next day and he wouldn’t be working, he insisted on exchanging hugs, which really stood out.
Like many places that feel very different from what you’re used to, it took us a day or two to settle into the Bequia rhythm. But once we did, we had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave. The hotel is comfortable, charming, and well worth the stay. Enjoy!!
26.03.02Exceptional hotel in exceptional location right on beachfront. Rooms are in individual self-contained cottages, all en suite with private balconies overlooking the sea. Immaculately clean and presented. Evening meals, especially the wood-fired pizzas, are excellent - breakfasts a bit lacklustre but who cares when you’re in paradise
26.01.22Been coming to the Plantation for several years and we have never had a bad experience.
Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Rooms are always clean and whatever you need, they will try to accommodate you.
Breakfast is always great and you can get food or drinks on their private beach too.
Stays can be a little pricey but well worth it compared to anywhere else on the island.
