Pros: good location, within walking distance from the local market, the waterfront, restaurants etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Free coffee and tea available in the hallway. I even got a free room upgrade. Good breakfast included in the price. Great sunrise view from the rooftop terrace. Free luggage storage available. AC and fans in the room. Cons: the place is old, vintage feeling (I liked the vibe but it might not be for everyone). Too cluttered everywhere. Narrow staircase, one might struggle to carry them to the 1 or 2nd floor. The taxi from them costs double than from the street (they asked for 800 MUR to the airport, I declined, and took a taxi from the street with 400 MUR instead). Compared to other properties on the island, this one felt overpriced for what it is.

This is a nice budget friendly hotel you can stay. The owner was so nice. Outside the rooms there was an area with tea than you can make for yourself anytime. The area has a lot of food joints. The room was clean. Breakfast featured, coffee / tea, bread, butter, jam, a boiled egg and some orange juice (very delicious). Overall I enjoyed my stay here. S/o the owner. Very lovely lady.
