26.03.09Feels like a convent on the Camino de Santiago rather than a 4 star hotel.
Rooms are passable, but paper thin walls, plus they had events every night we stayed there, very loud until after midnight, was hard to get a good sleep. The cherry on the cake was that maintenance was being Carrie out in the rooms next door on a Saturday and Sunday morning (which by the way are the only two days when the hotel was actually heavily booked. The other aspect of the very poor organisation or lack thereof is that couples on a romantic getaway like ourselves were put right in front or beside rooms with babies crying all day, while two corridors of rooms on the upper and lower floors were barely occupied with the same type of rooms.
Would not go back. The only good thing the hotel has got is the SPA, although even there unfortunately the relaxation results quite difficult due to the type of clientele: very loud and disrespectful of others (e.g. getting out of the sauna and steam room and leaving the doors open, yelling and laughing out loudly all the time, etc.). A very regrettable choice, although this apparently is the best one in town: such a shame.
