25.10.04We stayed here because it’s located east of Dobbiaco, making it a perfect base for visiting Tre Cime di Lavaredo early in the morning. While most hotels near Tre Cime or Lago di Misurina are quite expensive, this place was reasonably priced and only about 50 minutes to 1 hour away — totally worth it.
The staff were incredibly responsive and kind from the beginning, which made our stay even more satisfying. We had to arrive after 10 p.m., and many other hotels clearly stated that late check-in was not possible or simply didn’t reply to our messages. But here, the host kindly provided detailed instructions for a self check-in, making everything smooth and stress-free.
Our room was very spacious, the bathroom even had a bathtub, and overall it was a really comfortable stay. We had to leave early in the morning for our hiking schedule, but the staff thoughtfully prepared breakfast in advance so we could eat before leaving. There were also individually packed snacks — bread, butter, jam, cookies — that we could easily take with us, which turned out to be perfect for our Dolomites trek.
Thanks to their warm hospitality and attention to detail, we saved both time and money, and had a truly relaxing night before our hike.
Highly recommended to anyone visiting the Dolomites — especially if you plan to start your day early at Tre Cime! 🌄
25.09.23Honestly, it is an old hotel and has seen better days. But if your intention is to have a sort of pit stop like a night stay, then this is your place. The restaurant next door serve wickedly delicious pizza and pasta.
