Would have rated this higher if I didn’t feel let-down by the promise of a ‘spa hotel’. The pool is across the street from the hotel rooms, so you have to leave the hotel and cross a fairly busy road to get there, which was quite a big inconvenience. There were changing rooms there but the cleanliness could have been better. I went to the spa to try and book a few treatments but it was completely empty and couldn’t find any staff. The pool has a hot tub attached but the buttons to heat it/turn pumps on were very temperamental and we gave up in the end. There weren’t very many places to sit next to the pool either, and wasn’t very relaxing. The staff we met at the hotel itself were lovely though, and parking was convenient and secure. The beach is a short walk away and there are lovely restaurants nearby. Wouldn’t stay again but thanks for the staff that looked after us for making up for the lack of amenities.

We stayed from late Sunday to early Saturday, the first week of June. The property is very close to the beach, has a lovely pool and everything you need for a short self-catered stay. On the downside we didn’t find a local shop and had to walk at least 30 mins to buy any supplies. There are some nice restaurants nearby but we found the area very quiet, lacking any atmosphere in the week, some places didn’t open until the Friday. Friday was busy, including the planes flying overhead very 5 minutes. All in all very clean, well equipped and a nice place to stay.
