25.09.23I had a very disappointing stay at Sunway Amapola.
1. Late arrival & reception closed
I arrived around 11 PM and called the hotel, but nobody answered. I later found out online that I had to go 4 km to another hotel to pick up the keys because the reception of this apartment was closed. This meant taking a taxi there and back in the middle of the night, which was very inconvenient.
2. No room service or cleaning
There was no room cleaning during my stay, no fresh towels, and no service at all. When I asked about it, I was told it was not their duty since I was staying only 5–6 days. After a long discussion with the cleaning lady, she finally agreed to clean the room and give me new towels — but only after 3 days of using the same ones.
3. Unusual deposit policy
They required a €200 deposit on arrival, which I found unnecessary and strange for this kind of accommodation.
4. Unreasonable check-in and check-out times
Check-in is only from 4 PM, while check-out is at 10 AM. Checking out so early leaves you on the street with nowhere to go, which is very inconvenient.
5. Value for money
Considering the poor service, lack of basic facilities, and all the inconveniences, I found it overpriced and not worth the money.

24.06.02You have to travel 3km to get the keys. No wifi in rooms.
You can hear everything from the other rooms.
The ventilation of the bathroom next door opens in other bedroom.
So you can hear everything from the next apartment and may scare you that someone is in your apartment.
Lots of problems with the facility.
Not worth unless you get it very cheap.
24.05.26My friend and I could not book 2 nights in a row, so we had to check in/out/in/out. The reception desk is a 45 minute walk across cobblestone streets at a completely different hotel. Reception was only contactable by whatsapp, but did not reply for 8 hours. Taxis were completely unavailable and we were stuck standing on the street with all of our bags for an hour waiting not once, but twice!! We had to pay 60 euro in taxis back and forth to check in and out and in and out, which ended up making this place more expensive than the other options in Sitges. This place is ok if you have a car, but if you are looking for a budget friendly place with no headache and hassle, this place is not it. We ended up cancelling the last 3 nights of our stay because it was too much drama. Best part of our stay was the free bikes!
