Hotel Continental

The location of the hotel is magical. The spa is lovely and would highly recommend. Unfortunately the whole hotel including the spa needs renovating as its falling apart. Our room had a rotten window frame, the bathroom was damaged on the floor and bath. The radiator made noises until it was fixed. We were not able to call reception from our room. No room service or tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom. There was no dressing gowns, slippers, dental kits, body lotion etc in the room that you would normally find in a 4 star hotel. Two of the lifts were out of order. Both the Continental and the Gran Hotel are lovely designed buildings but are in need of repair works. Also the other historical buildings around the resort are falling apart which is such a shame. I was surprised that a 4 start hotel had been neglected like this. Staff were friendly and helpful.
