The ryokan is slightly tucked away from the road, not new but incredibly charming. The Japanese-style room was spacious and cozy, with a modern toilet and bath, which was very convenient. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious and varied, though the portions were a bit too large for us – it was a shame we couldn’t finish everything!
But the most remarkable part of this ryokan is the staff. I injured my leg and had to spend more time at the ryokan since I couldn’t walk around. Not only did they accommodate our request to extend our stay without any hassle, but they also surrounded us with care and attention.
It’s unfortunate that I got injured, but I’m so grateful to have spent this time and celebrated the New Year in this ryokan.
24.01.23Great location - short walk to bus station (for shuttles to all the Hakuba ski areas) and all the restaurants of the town.
Hosts couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful. Family run and the wife speaks good English.
We had a family room which was big for the 4 of us and super clean and comfortable.
The Onsen was perfect after a hard day’s skiing.
Breakfast was delicious, authentic and beautifully presented. Only available at 7am which makes sense when you see how much effort goes into it.
We came here because of the all the positive reviews from other travellers and happy to add ours to the mix.
Thank you for everything!
