26.05.03Vila Gale Braga is a great place to stay in Braga.
Besides the history, it’s in a great location, clean, knowledgeable staff, and a great breakfast.
I’m a bit partial, it’s my second time staying there.
25.11.21Male reception staff couldn't have looked less interested in us if he had tried, took an uncomfortable time to ask us to sit down, said I could go and get my bags now and didn't offer to assist. We left the bags at reception and parked the car. We returned and now dealt with a young girl as the male reception staff was not present. The young girl told us we should take our bags to the room as she couldn't assist as she was on reception on her own. We entered the room that was supposed to be a suite that smelled old and well past its sell by date. We knew we were visiting a town with medieval architecture but hadn't realised our room decor would be medieval in age from the smell and the furnishings. We went out for lunch, saw a few sights and left. Only then did anyone bother to show any care. Too late. I would advise the owner of this hotel to recruit people that show care to guests. If staff don't want to work in the hospitality industry get a job where you don't have to talk to people!
25.11.04My 18 yr. old son and I stayed at the hotel for three nights. It is in the perfect location and has beautiful views of Braga. Indoor and out door pools with spa amenities. Dinner at the hotel was delish and the service was excellent.
24.06.24Our path to Vila Gale in Braga was long and winding, slowly meandering through the narrow streets but don’t let that deter you from discovering this little gem. Once you make it inside, a hidden oasis awaits you. Spacious rooms, very clean and well equipped is only one unknown that I will clarify for you right away. The outdoor pool is another one and so is the gorgeous breakfast that you can take in the inner garden of the hotel. Book here with the confidence that you will not be disappointed.
