Terrace House

Nice place with a lot of character. Large spacious rooms in a neat character building. Staff was amazing. Fred and Ricardo went over the top to recommend and suggest things to do and see. A nice cafe just to the right at the corner had fresh cod cakes and drinks for local prices.. Right in the centre of the old town. Room had a water kettle as well and cups for tea or coffee. Breakfast if included is ok and nothing special. Would definitely stay here again. There’s a building being constructed at the back so it’s absolutely loud during the day till 6 pm on weekdays.

after long walks in the beautiful historic city, during my 4-night stay, I really appreciated how convenient it is to live in the pedestrian area of ​​the historic center. The Santa Cruz church in Largo Carlos Amarante is just 30 steps away, where there is a bus stop and where you can take a taxi. The ladies at breakfast are very kind and the doorman, Federico (Fred), welcoming and professional.
