This B and B is just as it looks in the photos. So I can recommend it as a great way to feel like you are staying in a piece of the local culture. There are a couple of places in walking distance to eat. But you will likely need your own transportation otherwise. For an older dwelling, the rooms are immaculately clean, and the breakfast is a nice undertaking. Worth a stay while you're taking in the region and it's flavour.

Vineyard setting overlooking the Duoro river and hills beyond. Breathtaking views, nice pool, well maintained house, comfortable and air-conditioned room, pleasant staff and cheap wine! Can't ask for more.
