24.05.20My husband and I were so excited to stay at the Imani Country House based on the photos and reviews online, and while the property is absolutely beautiful and has so much potential, we were a little disappointed with the experience. PROS: the pools and ground are beautiful. I would have loved to learn more about or tour through their olive oil farm. The junior suite is spacious and beds are comfortable. CONS: the road leading to the hotel needs major attention (tons of potholes) and maneuvering in and out of the parking area is tight and stressful. The bathroom sink is awkward and shower needed cleaning. If you are departing earlier than their breakfast hours, which start at 930am, the morning breakfast box consists of some stale bread, a few slices of cheese and meat, and a yogurt cup. The restaurant was the biggest miss for us - food was not great and quite expensive. We ended up at another nice hotel outside Evora or dinner the second night.
