Nice for one night

Good hotel with a great view. The rooms have a kitchen so one can also cook during the stay but the hotel restaurant serves great food.

But - we ordered food to the room, it was so bad and over priced. Disappointing. But othee than that things were good.

Nice walk down to the beach if you have an hour or so to get there and back. Not too steep of a hill to get there.

We were welcomed at ANC by the most wonderful staff! Anna, Sara, Andre and Paul all took great care of us at reception and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our month long stay. They were always helpful with plans and information on exploring the beautiful Island of Sao Miguel! We really enjoyed the daily breakfast and Loudlena, Milton and Marlene took such good care of us, always had a smile and made delicious omelets for us. :) The housekeeping staff were also great and we loved our studio apartment with a spectacular view of the sea. Even Paulo who takes care of the property when above and beyond to help my husband when his shorts blew onto the roof below :) We highly recommend ANC and we can't wait to return.
