25.12.02We chose this hotel based on price and it didn't disappoint. The staff there are absolutely amazing. I wish I got their names but no question was a big ask and the lovely lady even gave us a map to tell us where everything is. It's not far from the new and old towns by car. We got ubers everywhere and they were extremely affordable. The bed is one of THE best beds I have experienced in a hotel. We didn't want to leave. We felt breakfast could've been improved for the hot food section with fried eggs , veg sausages or hash browns added. However it was all laid out well and it was clean. Lovely hotel I would definitely return.

25.10.25 The most friendly staff, attentive, polite, gracious everyone from the reception at check in to the lovely bar staff and the exceptional breakfast staff. Hotel was spotless, lovely decor in blue tones and exceptional bed so comfortable. I had a balcony overlooking the pool. The hotel was quiet and a few evenings there was entertainment with a lady singing classic Portuguese songs. A number of restaurants close by in the evening but the food int he bar was good too as ate there a few nights. I would certainly return tot he Velamar Boutique hotel.
