26.04.09We stayed at Marriott Residences Salgados Resort for 3 nights and unfortunately the experience did not meet expectations for a Marriott-branded property.
The stay did not feel value for money. The apartment was not properly cleaned upon arrival, and the overall maintenance of the property seemed below the expected standard. For a resort under the Marriott brand, we expected better cleanliness and attention to detail.
Additionally, the response from staff was very slow. Requests took longer than expected, which affected the overall experience. The apartment also had very limited crockery and cutlery, which was inconvenient, especially for a family stay.
While the location of the resort is nice and peaceful, the overall condition, service, and amenities did not justify the price paid. With better maintenance, improved housekeeping, and faster service, the property could provide a much better experience.
Overall, the stay was disappointing and not up to the Marriott brand standards.
