26.04.08It was a lovely place and great staff however the rooms were not as pictured, I requested a double bed and got two single beds pushed together, the shower flooded the bathroom anytime we used it. I can’t fault it on the cleanliness and the restaurant served amazing food. The area is good if you don’t mind walking, we went out of season so not much was open but there was an amazing restaurant about a 7 minute walk called Nesaki, staff and food were absolutely exceptional, if you kept walking that way there was a few cafes and restaurants. A pebble beach was about a 5 minute walk and a sandy one 15, if you walked to the left it takes about 25 minutes to get to shops and bars which is a lovely walk. Bus stop was right outside the hotel which we got into Chania centre, €5 for two and took the same amount of time as a taxi (15 minutes), there is so many shops, restaurants and bars, a beautiful view of the lighthouse and a very short walk into the old town which is beautiful. Overall it’s a great cheap place, if you’re not looking to walk far I’d recommend staying closer to the centre.
