Kasapakis Hotel

Mixed feelings. Room was fine with burner, sink, cups, plates etc. nice little patio. However bed was terrible with thin mattress and hard springs digging into body. I had to put a blanket under bottom sheet to make it at least a little comfortable. This could easily be remedied with a new mattress or a topper. No soap, no shampoo, no welcoming bottle of water. No fan which is ridiculous. Aircon available for 7 euros a day but not really needed in September. A fan was. I was assigned the furthest room from the entrance and the noisiest because of generator in adjacent property so was often kept awake. Horrible. Nice pool. If you enjoy blaring music all day perfect for you. I would have liked to relax and listen to the waves but impossible. Breakfast available if not included at 8 euros which is fair. Continental. Construction on going next door so noise from that too. In summary a nice basic hotel, very clean, but management could make a much bigger effort to please guests. When I asked about amenities or lack of ,was told, "didn't you read the web site". Not exactly welcoming.
