Macronissos Village Club

Great value for money, we got what we paid for and more. All members of the staff were very friendly. Our apartment was cleaned daily. Beds comfortable, whole complex very tidy with beautiful gardens and pool. We will be back!

The renovated rooms are well-equipped with air conditioning and ceiling fans. The small kitchenette is adequate for preparing meals. The pool area is clean and well-maintained, with a jacuzzi and a children's section. The happy hour from 16:00-18:00 is a nice perk. The environment is a major highlight—it's a beautiful, green garden rather than a barren landscape. Upper-floor rooms offer sea views. The staff is friendly and helpful, with special thanks to Eva and Lena. The closest beaches, Makronissos and Landa, are excellent. ### Considerations * Non-renovated rooms are older and have outdated furniture; some have bathtubs instead of showers. * The on-site restaurant is convenient, but other Cypriot restaurants have more interesting menus. * Evening events (Elvis, magic shows) are repetitive and best suited for families with kids or older guests, not those seeking a vibrant nightlife. * Some dry bushes and smelly sewer manholes (especially near room 701) need attention. Despite these minor issues, we would happily return and recommend Makronissos Village.

It was an ok stay. The room was big and clean. Unfortunately the towels had stains on them and smelled kind of gross (sweat). The wifi is not working in the rooms, only in the common areas. There is loud music playing on the weekends (really annoying if you want to sleep and you have to listen to Eminem, followed up by Celine Dion - My heart will go on or Boney M - if you have to play music, please play good music lol). Breakfast was also meh… to be honest, if you’re low-maintenance, it’s fine - if not, I wouldn’t recommend it.
