A horrible experience we have staying here. We have been a seasoned travelers for years and years in Asia, Europe, China etc. For the first time, we were so upset with a hotel receptionist that was so rude, lectured us, told lies about us, their hotel guests and called us rude. Imagine this was done early in the morning during breakfast time. The receptionist herself was so rude, but didn't realise herself. Agoda rating on this Anyavee Ao Nang Bay resort of 4 stars is seriously overrated!! We give it 0 star for the horrible experience we had yesterday and this morning (our 2nd day) with this hotel receptionist. This hotel facility is quite run down, not deserving 4 stars rating! Firstly, the air conditioning in the room was not working well the moment we stepped into the room. And broken shower head holder. However, the receptionist insisted the air conditioning was working!! When we asked for further service for extra pillow, to get the shower head holder fix, she/the receptionist started to lecture us, the guests!! The Service is terrible, shocked to receive this kind of service. Even a 2-star hotel will not treat its guests this way!!

I don't know what happened to Anyavee Ao Nang Bay Resort. We had stayed here in the past and it was far more customer centric. Now everything seems to be petty and profit motivated. Asking for just small room comforts were met with a price tag. E.G. 200 baht per pillow per night. Really?? 400 baht x 4 days =1600 baht for pillows?? I initially wanted to add one more day to our stay or pay for a later checkout to accommodate our late flight. The price was almost equal to our 4 night stay. Seems like a ridicules way to run a hotel. This hotel is also getting a bit older and in need of cosmetic and general facility upgrades. Breakfast was very limited and had little to NO vegan options.

This is a fantastic option to stay at Ao nang beach closer to the beach and all restaurants, we did have minor hiccups since they moved the hotel 500metres away and it wsnt updated on Google, but apart from that the stay itself and staff is very good. Hotel is clean, breakfast was decent, not a lot of vegan options. I would recommend this hotel to everyone due to its proximity to the beach.

Good location and staff was helpful
