26.03.29On arriving and going to our room we entered and the room smelt very strongly cannabis, it was so bad and strong that we couldn't stay and had to be moved.
The room was an executive siut and had been cleaned but unfortunately the smell was so strong. The receptionist was very helpful and moved to a new room.
This is 2nd time we have stayed and a problem with our room had to be moved.
I can't fault the staff on either occasion as they dealt with the print moved us. Its just disappointing
The breakfast was lovely
26.02.20 Another stay at this seaside hotel. Close to the theatre, a cafe and fish shop. Iconic building overlooking the sea. Did not try the restaurant so cannot judge.

Price: *** no breakfast was reasonable. The hotel is old and needs a bit of low level maantainence but was otherwise comfortable with good lounge facilities and within walking distance the pier.
The room was clean but felt lile attention to detail could have been better e..g. mirror.in the wardrobe, windows, corners.
Staff were very helpful but seemed tired and overworked.
The murder mystry was very good. Hope to go back and do another. Would stay there again although hope they make some improvements.
