25.08.22What a great find! We couldn’t have had a warmer welcome from Simona and her team and were brilliantly looked after during our two-day stay. The food was excellent, with special mention of the amazing breakfasts, and all staff were so warm but professional. Our room on the ground floor of the Annex was very comfortable but unfortunately we were disturbed on the first night by some very antisocial guests in the room above us who shouted and swore at each other from 0300 onwards, stomping around the room, until just before 0700 when they left, we assume to travel on to the Channel Tunnel. Thankfully the guests who replaced them in that room were very quiet! Overall this was a great find and we won’t hesitate to book again. It’s location in such a lovely village but close to excellent travel links make it ideal as a stop off place when heading to or from Dover, and the staff and food were genuinely outstanding.
