22.05.10 Enjoyed our stay, only down side was our room was cold and had to ask reception to turn the heating on. Why doesn’t the room have a thermostat and we can chose when to heat the room when in it? We had a standard room. My sister was upgraded to a superior one and it was always lovely and warm!
22.05.08 We enjoyed our few days there. This survey asked “value for money” we gave it 5 stars but that was in the price of staying there so we really don’t know if it’s value for money, but very enjoyable! Staff are superb!
22.05.03 From arrival the staff were friendly and helpful , we were given an upgrade due to my fiancee needing extra space , the room was lovely , we went for a swim , this is an easy to access pool , it is steps but they are OK for access with a good hand rail and a shallow angle . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to others .
22.04.26 This hotel had the friendliest staff I have seen in a while. Everyone was helpful and polite.
The hotel itself is a little tired in places but spotlessly clean and has a great location and on site parking. The breakfast was lovely, and there were rooms to relax downstairs. We didn't use the gym so I can't comment on that.
I would be happy to stay there again. It's good value for money, has excellent customer service and is central for Dumfries and the wider area. What's not to like?!
