Bryn Meadows Golf, Hotel & Spa

I was a solo traveller and stayed there for 2 nights. Staff were very friendly from the start and were always helpful. The room I had was very clean and spacious. There were tea and coffee supplies in the room. I used all of the facilities Gym, Pool, and spa area. Was nice and relaxing area, but timings for members and residents are different (not by much but worth being aware of) Gym equipment was current and varied. I couldn't see any refill water stations in the gym though. The spa area was a tranquil place where you can enjoy some time to yourself and switch off, lovely views of the golf course. I originally didn't book breakfast in my booking, they did offer and said costs would be higher if I just turned up, so I did add the breakfast and I wasn't disappointed you had full use of the continental then you get too choose a cooked breakfast the range from full English to Eggs Royale etc the breakfast was spot on and gets 5*. The hotel does need updating in certain areas but I had a very pleasant stay and the views are amazing.

All in all had a lovely 1 night stay here but disappointed with the lack of cleanliness that we discovered upon stripping the bed before leaving. Stains on the pillows & mattress protector

I booked 2 nights for my wife and I as a much needed getaway. Our stay was ok but a few things could have been better to leave us with the feeling of having a great stay. Bad experience first: We reported an issue to reception which was partially resolved (getting the Aircon working)and I was told the Duty manager would definitely be along to follow up as there was a loud noise that needed investigating but we never met or had any communication from the duty manager. Subsequently the aircon during our stay never lowered the temperature of our room during which was a very hot end of May bank holiday weekend. There was also no hand soap in the basin and when I notified this to a member of staff, I was told they were out of stock! The bath drain in our room was also in need of unblocking and took at least a good 6 or more minutes to clear after showering. I booked a Junior suite for us which was a little disappointing as it was
