Great location with great Value

Had a very relaxing stay at Bari Lamai. All rooms have unobstructed seaviews and a quiet beach which was nice. I was happy to have a pet friendly stay with such proximity to the beach. I was a bit disappointed that there were no lounge chairs for the pool area, or chairs on the balcony to enjoy the view from the room. Also could use with tea and coffee in the room. Had to venture down each morning to ask for coffee that I wanted to enjoy from the room. Felt a bit of a burden to the staff asking. Also you have to order room service from the lobby. There is no way to call down to reception. But the views are lovely, it’s a peaceful slice of beach, pet friendly and kind staff. Bed was also comfy.

There were small tiny bugs (they said tiny ants) over around in my room, smell from toilet out to the room in the middle of the night, breakfast was a set, no buffet. The best of this hotel is the location and beach that shallow and no dangerous for kids to play a long to the beach.

Nice seaside hotel. Unlike many places in Rayong the beach is separated from property by a road, this property is right on the beach. You can walk directly from the hotel onto the sand. Also in some rooms there is a kindof semi pool access room, which on upside is nice but on the downside is noisy with kids always plunge in. Property is a bit old. Not mint, but adequately kempt. Just a few wear and tear here and there. Parking can be a bit challenging. Downside: it seems the road in front of the hotel is traffic with a local racing gang so somehow becomes noisy every once in a while. Also - the food, both dinner and breakfast line, is mediocre. I mean I can live with, but there are many outstanding joints out there just a few mins drive at lower prices so why bother?
