Lovely hotel. Quaint and very old world. Walks through the back gardens down to the town of Clifden brought back childhood memories of my Summers in the Galway countryside when I was a child. We booked a superior room and stayed in a suite for two days. Very nice. Old world bathtub lovely treat. Four poster bed king size fabulous. Bathrobes lovely. Fireplace if needed. Food was good maybe offer a steak on menu for a supplement. Also, maybe don’t charge 12.5% service charge on ordering wine with dinner included. Bring back scones and tea in the afternoons and the smoked salmon with the bubbly evening reception. I will return again for sure.
