McGettigans Hotel (formerly Gallaghers Hotel)

Very clean and excellent value and superb breakfast

We enjoyed our night here. Ample parking behind the hotel. Staff were kind and attentive. Room was comfortable, warm and quiet. There was food and music in the adjoining Warehouse bar and you could enjoy the music filtering through into the hotel foyer. Just a short walk from other restaurants and bars. A fabulous location 👌

Thanks to staff for letting me have food a few mins after kitchen was due to close. 10/10 for that. It's on a hill so takes a bit of getting used to when going to and from your car. Room was nice and I slept soundly all night. It was clean and comfortable. Not the cheapest, but it bucketed rain that night and luckily I did not have to leave the hotel because the Masters was on the tv in the bar, there was good food, excellent Guinness and a guy singing some excellent songs in the corner. Nice atmosphere in the pub also. Would happily stay there again as it is a central location with parking and everything needed if you don't need or want to venture out further that evening.

The hotel is in a town centre location. There is adequate parking to the rear. We stayed on a Saturday night. The hotel was busy, but we were accommodated in a quiet room. The room was clean, beds were comfy. There was a good choice for breakfast. We would stay here again
