26.04.02 Had a lovely clean room and a very good breakfast. We were attending a Wedding at the nearby Devin Inn Hotel. This was ideal and great value for money.
26.03.14 Excellent reception and staff throughout the Hotel. Very warm and welcoming for weary travellers. The hotel is top notch. Clean , comfortable and well kept. Breakfast was fantastic too. I’d stay any day.
26.01.09 Staff very nice, and food is great. Shower was powerful. Location works out great if you need close proximity to the town. Nice towels and shower productsm Rooms are a great size but disproportionate furniture means the furniture looks tiny. Encasing headboard so cant reach the side tables easily. Very poor choices for layout and furniture. Doors and windows (single glazed by looks of it) are old and very noisy when in room by the main road. Bad patch up job on wall, bathroom door was rotten at the base, limescale on shower thermometer and rusty shower plug. Grouting by bath was loose. 80s music is playing non stop with Gloria estefan and Madonna featured for breakfast (and lobby area).
This hotel needs more than average DIY updates, it needs a complete refresh and a clear identity/target population. With a bit more attention to detail, could be a great hotel.
