The Savoy Hotel

We booked an executive king room whilst the room was fine , we booked an executive king. It was too hot , it was difficult to sleep. We turned the thermostat to 16 but to no avail couldn’t be regulated down . The room had no windows only a door to the terrace so we had to leave the door open. There was no tea bags or coffee pods to use in the facilities provided .

Spacious executive room with a lovely view of the Shannon. Very well equipped, great shower, lots of towels, comfortable bed with excellent bedding and pillows. We had breakfast one morning and we were surprised at the fantastic options on the menu. Would definitely stay again & happily recommend.

The staff in the hotel were amazing. We got a lovely surprise room upgrade and thought the executive lounge is a lovely touch that not a lot of 5 star hotels in Ireland have. It’s the first time we have seen it.
