Friendly staff. Its fine for short stays.

Nice hotel, but needs an upgrade. Staff were very pleasant. 10 minute walk to town centre. Meals were grand.

The hotel was good and the family room was a great size and clean and we felt good value. The staff were lovely. The restaurant food was the worse we had in our 2 week trip of Ireland the restaurant was packed on the Monday and Tuesday evening we were there, we did try another place in Belmullet and that equally as bad and we ended up getting prepared food from a supermarket and that was honestly unfortunately far better. If we ever decided to return to Belmullet we would probably rent somewhere with a kitchen because of the terrible food in Belmullet, which is a shame as we thought the hotel was generally good.

Hotel was nice and for the value for money it would entice me to stay again. Staff could of been a bit warmer, very short and to the point no real greeting or information given we had to go to the desk twice for checkout and breakfast times as well as to enquire about dining in the hotel. In the rooms itself it's basic but comfortable. A welcome pack with information would be needed, no instructions on how to work the heating in the room or the phone to call to reception, or any information about the area with recommendations for tourism. Beds were very comfortable, room was clean, came with basic amenities coffee/tea facilities, TV with decent reception and iron/hairdryer. Restaurant was nice however we got there during a busy period and staff weren't able to cope with the pressure. There were drinks orders forgotten which ended in us having to queue at the bar to get our own drinks separately to the meal, a mix up with the food order ours was given to the table next to us, and people coming in from a side door connected to the lounge area from reception and pulling chairs from our table and sitting next to us while they waited for their own table. The food was nice, good portion sizes and nothing to complain about. The restaurant although busy had a nice atmosphere. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, couldn't fault the selection of food and despite it being busy we were seated swiftly and given good direction on how to go about self service. Only thing I'd change would be that we had to go and ask for tea and coffee because servers weren't asking on arrival if we wanted any. For anyone who cares about the hotels aesthetic, the entrance and lounge area are very modern and classy, which doesn't entirely match up to the rooms. We stayed in a twin room with a double and single bed and the decor was very dated. Warm but outdated. The bar and restaurant are very classically Irish, qauint but a warm feel.
