River Street Motel

Excellent location on River Street. Large rooms. Good value for money. We recommend this hotel for stay in Ballina.

A good place to stay on the Brisbane- Sydney run

Late check in. The contact number wasnt answered for some time. The manager / security SOO rude. Took kids to pool at 930am during school holiday period, we were told "too noisy". I tole my kids to quiet down and not splash around as they asked. They then hovered around and uncomfortably watched us. Another staff member came and stated he was "security" and used aggressive tones . Threatened to kick us out. Only stayed here as emergency situation after having a car accident travelling, needing overnight accomodation. We were checking out at 10am and they wouldnt allow the kids a 20min swim.

The room is quite spacious and clean. There is a round table in the middle of the room. The bed is comfortable with many sockets near the bed. The carpark is OK on the ground floor. The bathroom is clean and bright. I recommend this hotel and will come back next time.
