The TV cable was damaged and the connection was poor – I could only hear the sound without any picture. The screen door had many holes, and the room was quite dusty. The carpet was covered with dog hair. At checkout, I saw the cleaner bringing a dog into the room during cleaning, and I believe the hair on the carpet came from that dog (the color was the same). The noise insulation was terrible – I could hear every conversation in the hallway, and also the showers running in the rooms next door and upstairs. It was very noisy and not comfortable.

Last time I was staying in another accommodation in Gladstone and didn’t have good experience, but this motel makes me wanna come back to Gladstone again. The room is so big and has big balcony with nice view. Staff was kind and welcoming, definitely come back when visit here next time.

Pros - good location with good views and plenty of free car parking. Cons - it needs a refurb but doubt it will not get one probably owned by developers. Noisey and felt it attracted an unsafe element - fight broke out night we stayed. Our room was called deluxe - starting to realise that today’s ‘deluxe’ is yesterday’s ’very budget’ - we won’t b back. Husband suggested adding toilet won’t flush correctly.
