Downtown Motel

Close to shops and plenty of parking. Room was small but doable and the blinds even though it was down, people can still see inside through the gap and through that gap there is a mirror so basically anyone walking past can see inside the room through the gap in the blinds. Carpet war worm, and don’t go barefoot In the carpet as something pokes through and into ur foot.

Stayed on a Friday night, though did not get much sleep. Our budget room #28 had an adjoining door which provided little sound barrier to the next door (unrelated) guest. If other guested smoked on the balcony, the smell came right into our room. The bed was firm, though multiple pillows were provided. A lot of light comes in the room, particularly from the uncovered window above the door. The location is excellent, being walkable to every amenity, however that does lend itself to the street and traffic noise through the night. The room was very clean, with fresh, unmarked linen and towels, but old and dated. The carpet is well worn and there were tiles missing from the bathroom wall. The staff were courteous, friendly and accommodating. It was convenient to have parking on site, and the hotel was easy to find. I would not stay in the budget room again.

We stayed one night for a function in town. Location is second to none. Cafes, bars, restaurants, desserts bar all within walking distance. Definitely recommend and will book again.
