25.11.30I attended a wedding in Kiama over the weekend. Solid pub with exceptional staff and quality banter. Also, the locals are great too. Highly recommend !
25.05.05 We were located on level one level level two had the toilet and shower. Shower water would not get hot for about 19 minutes. Our room had no blind and light in that room did not work either did the tv
25.04.07 The hotel did not have my booking and repeatedly had me prove the booking and the proof that I paid over and over again. Fairly disorganised management, and didn’t really come with a thanks or an apology for the error. The staff at the bar were excellent and super welcoming. Pity about the manager.
The bathroom and toilet are shared. This wasn’t clear when I was booking.
22.12.05 I would not recommend this hotel based on the following:
* peeling paint resulting in mouldy walls
* filthy worn out carpet
* tiny hot rooms
* dirty sheets
* wet towels awaiting you
* bathrooms out of order on one floor
* no electrical socket in room
It made our trip to Kiama less enjoyable than it could have been.
22.05.14 I stayed only one night, and given how cheap the room was, it was as good as expected. Next time I'll shell out a bit more and go somewhere else.
Good things: comfy (soft) bed, clean sheets, clean towel, friendly staff.
Not so good things: nowhere to fill kettle for provided tea and coffee (and no mugs to use anyway), everything smelled weird, mold in shared bathroom, mold on window, thin curtains (with a digital billboard opposite the street).
