26.02.03We stopped in for one night stay while travelling back to Newcastle from Griffith, to break up the trip.
The location was perfect, just off the main street. Room had everything we needed and was clean & tidy EXCEPT for the shower. It needs a good dose of mould killer! Mould growing in the grout and built up under the bottom of the shower door frame on the inside. Yuck!
A note of warning....the doors self lock! We found out the hard way. While unpacking the van, I left the keys and both our phones in the room and was locked out. There's an intercom at reception for after hours contact, but no one answered my calls. Luckily there was another traveller in the carpark who I flagged down and he was able to call the owner on my behalf. He was at the shops close by and quickly came to let us back into our room.
The free breakfast ( served in a little dining room near reception from 7 til 9am) was basic; toast, cereal, yoghurt, tea/coffee, but was all we needed. A dairy-free milk option would have been good, but I luckily bought my own and shared it with some other travellers who also had milk allergies. But I get you can't cater to everyone.
