Cobar Copper City Motel

Stay a night here and forgot my jacket when I checked out . After few message with staff and they helped to send my jacket back!!!!!!!

Don’t recommend, place needs alot of work. Could hear large rats running around all day and night in the roof. chewing & scratches. Had to keep bathroom door closed due to smell from drainage and the gurgling when neighbours showered. Cleaners only cleaned when you put the sign on your door to please make up my room, i stayed over a week and was cleaned the twice i put sign out. I was supposed to return but ive found elsewhere in town to try. I stay in hotels more than im home and im usually ok with cheaper stays just this place really needs to pull their socks up and try fix.

We arrived around 1130am and were able to check-in which was good as we drove for over 4 hours from White Cliffs early on the morning. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was big with a nice large double bed and was comfortable to sleep on. The bathroom was dated and a few things left unfixed but nothing to worry about really. Hot water was good and the water pressure consistent. The smart TV with wifi worked well and YouTube was going for a few hours into the evening without any lag or loading issues. The amenities provided are what you would expect and all the items worked which was good. Definately recommend as it is a short walk to the main street of Cobar and not far from the main roundabout which goes out of town towards Nyngyn. Happy to come back and stay in the future and value for money in January was pretty good.

The place was very tiny. Once the pull out couch was drawn out, there was hardly any space left and it was uncomfortable to sleep on.
