Ocean Centre Hotel

The location is unbeatable, making it easy to explore nearby attractions, and staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout the stay. Facilities were well-maintained and convenient, offering good value overall. However, cleanliness could use some improvement to enhance the experience further.

No off street parking. Staff were rude on arrival and didn’t reply to messages regarding a late arrival/ check in. Our room was in a strange side hall. Very basic room, a bed in the middle of the room, a television on the wall and a bin in the corner. We didn’t even have a chair. Had to chase up towel for bathroom. The power points in the room didn’t work. We checked in late - and noticed after none of our devices charged. I felt the room deposit was excessive for a very basic room.

Stayed 2 nights recently and found the hotel very clean and tidy. Great location across from the beach. Reception staff were informative, gave clear directions and gave friendly courteous service. The room was on the ground floor, queen bed and single, large room with small garden courtyard facing the street. Normal room facilities. Bathroom clean and provided shower wash/shampoo/conditioner/and hairdryer. The reception is up stairs from the street. Lift or stairs to rooms. Small security controlled carport otherwise street parking until 8am. Booked via Agoda but when departed found the hotel had another system that allocated daily rates. Rather disappointing with a further charge due.

Only stopped in for a night on our way north and the room was comfy.

They are all the same around the area so one or another it won’t change that much anyway
