Maryborough Motel and Conference Centre

From the moment I drove to find my way into the complex I was regretting my decision to book. It looked like it was not operational. No reception area. Then my room was not what I had booked and paid for. After a conversation with the owner I was given a Family room. Oh dear. This was the old reception area complete with curtains to cover the doorways. 2 queen beds and a single crammed into a small area. Nowhere to hang clothes. Nowhere in the bathroom for your products on the tiniest vanity basin ever. No glassware, small bowls, spoons, no teatowel, no remote for the TV that is hung on the wall by a hook.. the bathroom door keeps coming off the sliding track trapping you inside. The bathroom light switch is by the front door which is not near the bathroom. This motel should be a 1 star.. I

Straightforward booking and clear late arrival instructions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.Room was clean, bed was comfy and shower was hot with plenty of pressure. Would definitely book again

The motel is old and very dated but it was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were exceptionally helpful and very friendly, couldn't do enough for me. They have only been doing overnight stays for 7weeks, and are slowly fixing the place up. They are very open to helpful suggestions on how to improve. I will stay again.
