26.05.06Highly recommend, may be close to the railway, but didn't hear the trains, bed eas super comfortable, it must be for me to sleep 8.5 hours.
26.03.11Great little motel, hot water tap was a little dodgy, but nothing serious. great location & value though. Bed was super comfortable.
26.02.18Algae and leaves in swimming pool. Mould in shower: old dried stain on mattress protector.
26.02.01The motor inn is functional, in a good location and for the price, ideal for a one night/very short stay.
The entire complex is tired, rundown and under maintained compared to the photos. The rooms are decor are outdated, office style carpet - could do with some freshening up. Large outside sand style ashtrays were full up to the brim with cigarette butts - clearly hadn't been emptied in days.
The room smelt musty and of old smoke, however it was clean, as was the linen. The bathroom was clean enough; the light fitting was full of bugs and the shower corners black with mould. Aircon worked well. Reception was closed at 3pm - an hour after check-in time so I had to call the staff to get access to the room. (I think was guy was out driving his taxi) wifi info was missing from my room. Pool area was messy and pool not clean (it was a shame, it was 42 degrees the day I stayed) Only listing the above so you get a clear idea of what you're buying. At ***/night for queen room it suited my budget and needs. I wouldn't rush back, but it served its purpose.
26.01.25I enjoyed my stay here for these reasons : ample comfortable room, good price, easy parking, close to the city centre ( walking distance), no issue.
( The only point I might make is that at the start, the fridge was switched off, defrost, the tray in the fridge was completely full of liquid water, emptying it myself felt bit like house-keeping issue to get tray with water spilling over the edge safely to the bathroom to drain it out...not an issue, just saying)
