26.04.14My family of 6 and I were in Melbourne for only 2 nights and needed cheap accommodation. For 6 people in can be difficult, but AMI was a great option for us and the price was very reasonable.
The rooms was spacious and beds were comfy, it was all just very outdated and the maintenance was lacking, but it is an older building and the upkeep would be a lot.
Some may not like it, but we aren't fussy and as long as it is clean, we have a good bed to sleep in and the staff are friendly and helpful, we're happy - And we were happy.
The location was only a short walk to a number of restaurants and pubs and only a short trip in to the CBD (car or tram).
We would stay here again.
