So amazing they allowed our 2 border collies to stay in the room with us! The only accommodation in Port Douglas to let that happen! So grateful 🙏🙌☀️

The Pink Flamingo has clearly seen better days. While it might have once been a charming spot, the resort now feels noticeably rundown and neglected. This is particularly apparent in the facilities and rooms, which were unfortunately not clean. On a positive note, the resort is located about a 25-minute walk from the main town, which offers some accessibility, but overall, the maintenance and hygiene issues make it difficult to recommend.

Absolutely fabulous accommodation if you want to self cater & have plenty of space. Huge private courtyard with an outdoor bath & shower, even plumber for hot water. ( Indoor shower too). Hammock & outdoor dining all there with fan, lighting, candles, mosi coils all provided. Kitchen well stocked including gladwrap & foil. Honesty bar operating by the pool, which has the obligatory inflatable floating flamingo. If you turn your nose up at taking a photo on such, then maybe this place is too cool for you, otherwise jump in and book it. We're mid 50's, travelled extensively, don't see the point in spending ***/night, like to be able to cook, but want somewhere clean & quiet. 100% happy with this place.

Handy location. Clean & well provisioned unit with lots of extra handy items. Private outdoor covered seating & clothes drying rack were a bonus. Colourful decor, pathway to units & plantings created a cheerful ambiance. Joe the manager was very pleasant & helpful. Highly recommended.
