Heritage Lodge In the Daintree

Beautiful setting amongst the rainforest with the river that you can swim in right there

Most incredible accommodation at the Heritage lodge! Phenomenal location, amazing staff and also the best meal we have eaten in Australia. Highly recommend this place

The feeling of sleeping in the middle of the forest, with the sound of the rain and all, was really cool. It was great to disconnect from the outside world for a couple of days. evenings were spent indoors -we selected the only young kids friendly DVD of the lot (Peppa pig) and the kids loved it, sitting on the bed watching movies and having popcorn. Being in the forest however, also meant a very humid environment, everything refused to dry up but well, it's just 2-3 days, we could live with that. Breakfast was simple but good enough to start the day. We did have dinner at the restaurant on the first day, price was steep and the food portions were large but taste could've been better

This offers fantastic value for money and is perfectly located to explore the stunning surroundings. The staff are incredibly friendly.
