24.08.13Really nice apartments, not huge, but plenty of space and everything you need. King size bed, made of 2 king singles. Well stocked kitchen, utensil wise. Comfortable lounge and smart tv. Not 5 stars, but not 5 star price either. I'd say 3.5 stars, but priced accordingly and we'd definitely stay here again.
24.08.11 The hotel as a whole was a nice size, with the pool area a particular highlight. Had all the amenities we were expecting, and was a good location to walk to the centre of Port Douglas. Unfortunately the apartment was not clean. Years of dust on the drying rack, sticky cupboard handles etc, the floor was dirty.
24.08.05 Friendly management made sure we were acquainted with all aspects of the apartment and facilities.
Large heated pool with ample lounges under umbrellas or in the sun catered for all preferences.
BBQ facility provided in pool area.
Apartment with separate bathrooms was clean and had all that was required for a great stay in Port Douglas.
Apartment was in walking distance to the beach and town.
24.07.23 The location is the biggest attraction. Central & walking distance to everything. It’s a nice enough resort. just probably getting a little tired. The apartment was good & clean enough. The supplies & equipment provided were minimal. There is no separate oven just a microwave combo which didn’t have instructions. The room refresh midway certainly didn’t replenish any items. The pool & outdoor area are very nice. Given it was school holidays it was mostly families staying so quite a bit of noise at times & heaps of kids in the pool & spa. I would stay again but it really would depend on the cost at the time.
24.06.28 This place is amazing! clean and in a fantastic spot, our kids loved the pool and proximity to beach and shops. Glenys and Rodney do a fantastic job to make you feel welcome and are very helpful with tourist attractions and insight into all areas of Port Douglas. We have stayed at other resorts but hands down Central Plaza Apartments is the place to be in Port Douglas . We will be back 👍🏻 Carina, Matt and kids.
