Loved staying back at Ferntrees. It is quiet, a gorgeous spot amongst the rainforest and not hectic like the backpackers. Perfect spot for families! Staff were very friendly, accommodating and willing to share their local knowledge of the area.

Good, spacious room.

Getting back to nature. Awesome. Meals at restaurant not huge range but breakfast was sensational (big brekky/eggs Benedict,). Room very comfortable. Clean sheets, comfy bed. Hot water and pressure in shower ok but considering location, understandable. Definitely recommend for a nature getaway..so close to amazing Cape Trib beaches.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel has a pool. Restaurant is open for three meals a day so it’s convenient to have a dining option when the tours run late. The room was quiet and clean, the shower was hot, the bed was comfortable and the A/C works well. It’s minutes away from the boardwalk and the beach and a short drive down to Mason’s water hole. They have a nightly nature walk that’s led by a rather unorthodox character. Only minor complaint was that their business phone line doesn’t work, it goes to a miss call without voicemail option. Then they call back from a different mobile number. They really ought to update their contact detail.

Beds are hard and uncomfortable. Location is beautiful. Bathroom Has mould on roof and in shower. Pool is beautiful but oh so cold! Restaurant is lovely but not good food options and on the pricey side. Basic room - triple family room.
