26.05.17Alex, the Receptionist was phenomenal! Her warmth and passion brought this hostel alive. I’ve never felt so welcomed and comfortable. Her compassion and genuine help towards others were truly felt. She definitely deserves a raise and a promotion! On top of that, the breathtakingly handsome Manager was really kind and responsible in coming over promptly to settle my request. I’ve never felt so positive staying in a hostel. Although my stay was short, the experience was wonderful and will be remembered. Thank you for that, I’m really grateful.

26.04.24 No lift, one set of stairs only and many many many rooms, one fridge, kitchen is as big as a bathroom, bathrooms are pretty good, one person bathrooms but hard to find in busy times, overall if you need a bed and can climb stairs and don't need a kitchen and can use your shower/ toilet outside of the rush, it's going to be good enough, bordering on really good. But is the above is a struggle, this place has zero use for you

26.04.20 This place offers excellent value for money with friendly and helpful staff making the stay enjoyable. The location is convenient and the cleanliness is generally good, though the facilities could use some improvement. Overall I had a pleasant stay meeting new friends in the property. Also they have tours departing to Mt Wellington from the hostel which is great.
26.03.24 It’s right in the heart of everything, with incredibly easy access to shopping, the wharf, and all the tours.
